Crépy-en-Valois, October 15, 2025 – On the occasion of the Equip Auto 2025 trade show, MECAFILTER is unveiling, as a preview, its new range of automatic transmission filters, a product family that will complete its offering starting from the first quarter of 2026.

Since the early 2000s, the European automotive market has undergone rapid change, with the share of vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions rising from 8% in 2004 to more than 70% in 2024. This evolution is driven by several factors: the widespread adoption of these systems across all segments, the growth of electrified vehicles (which now account for over 20% of sales), and the increasing demand for comfort and performance.

To support this transformation and meet the needs of repair professionals, the R&D teams at MISFAT Group have developed a new range of automatic transmission filters.

Filters designed for performance and durability

MECAFILTER transmission filters ensure optimal protection for automatic gearboxes by providing fine filtration of particles and impurities circulating in the transmission oil.

The range is built around two main technologies :

  • Pressure filters, which protect and clean the hydraulic actuator circuit,
Suction filters (strainers), which protect the lubrication circuit of mechanical components (gears, bearings, pump, etc.).

Regular maintenance (every 60,000 km or every 5 years, according to manufacturer recommendations) helps prevent breakdowns and maintain the efficiency and lifespan of automatic transmissions.

A growth opportunity for repair professionals

With this new range, MECAFILTER offers repairers a reliable, high-performance and competitive solution to meet the growing demand for automatic transmissions.

Positioned with excellent value for money, it enables professionals to offer accessible preventive maintenance while guaranteeing high levels of quality and customer satisfaction. This approach perfectly supports the brand’s commitment to delivering both added value and profitability to workshops.

First products available in 2026

The range will be rolled out progressively from the first quarter of 2026, with an initial set of 38 references covering the most common applications in the European vehicle fleet.

MECAFILTER thus confirms its commitment to continuously enhance its offering and support repairers in the face of technological developments in the market.
